Operational Checks 

These are important to do and really refers to the kind of checks you need to do in order to determine that the boat will be fully functional if your were to purchase it.  

Check for vibration as this may indicate a number of potential different source problems like a bent propeller. This will also result in your boat being noisy. 

Also make sure to check if the steering response is quick and sensitive. Thirdly make sure to see if gear shifting is effortless or if there are any issues here. When it comes to checking the gears, also ensure that the Reverse works as this is vital – especially when you dock!
